Originally Whero offered a range of educational services with a focus on te reo me ōna tikanga Māori. While some education and consultancy services are still available, the primary focus is korowai design and production. Contact us is you have a specific request.

Whero korowai are designed by Whero Director Jared Riwai-Couch. Jared can work with you to design a korowai that has significance for you and your whānau, your iwi, school or organisation. Jared has completed more than 120 korowai which are now in New Zealand and around the world. Jared’s iwi (tribal) affiliations are Ngāi Tahu, Kahungunu and Rangitāne ki Wairarapa. He lives in Christchurch with his wife and five children.
